If you're using our Schedule a Meeting node in your bot to easily allow customers or prospects to book times with you, you may want a shareable version of your bot that you can send or embed in your email signature.
To create a shareable link to your bot/calendar:
-
Ensure your calendar is connected, and you've configured at least one meeting type of the appropriate length and frequency
You may also want to double check your personal calendar settings to ensure that everything looks good. Remember, this page manages your availability for ALL bots you're attached to, not just the standalone bot
-
Create a simple "Schedule a Meeting" bot. You can use our "Schedule a Meeting" template to start off it, or create your own. If you want to offer multiple types of meetings, (ie, 30 and 60 min meetings) you can always start with a multiple choice node.
-
Important: Add trigger settings to limit where the bot will deploy! If your Instabot account is connected to a website, you need to add trigger settings so the bot won't override your main bot. Add something like "DON'T LAUNCH" as a URL parameter. Don't worry, the standalone page will work no matter what your trigger settings are!
-
Publish your bot!
-
Find the microsite/standalone page URL
When you publish your bot the first time, you'll get a link to the bot but you can always find it again from the Bot Management page by selecting the three dots and using the "Share" link.
This link can be shared or embedded however you want, including being embedded in your email signature!
