If the bot won’t appear at all, it could be due to a number of reasons, including:
1. Bot isn't published yet
Even if you've saved your bot, you need to ensure that it's published before expecting it to appear on your website. You also need to ensure that you've correctly added the Instabot code snippet to your site.
2. Incorrect trigger settings
When launching your bot based on URL, you want to be sure to type in the appropriate web address for the site or pages you’d like the bot to appear on. Typos happen all the time here so ensure that you've correctly copied over the site.
If you're still having difficulty, and you're using "is EXACTLY" launch settings, experiment with including or leaving off the "http" or "https" and "www"-- depending on how your site is configured this may be interfering with your bot launching.
3. User trying to view bot is archived
Sometimes in an effort to keep analytics clean, Instabot users will "archive" their own user. Archived users will not see any bots, even if the bot is active on a page. To confirm if this is happening to you, try launching your bot in Incognito mode. If the bot DOES launch now, this may be the cause of your bot failing to launch.
Simply navigate to the Users page and filter by Archived Users. If you see yourself, click into the user and change their status back to Active. Now you should see the bot launch per your expected Trigger settings.
